Although born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada, Donna has always loved the countryside and has felt that nature was central to her way of life.  It is not surprising that she now resides on Lake Simcoe in Innisfil, Ontario.   Her watercolour works of art appear in many homes, from Muskoka to Barrie to Toronto.  She also enjoys graphite pencil drawings and is particularly adept at depicting the charm of the much loved family pet.

Donna’s early art experiences were mostly self-taught, however she continues to pursue her art locally with private tutoring from Lynda Giles.  She attends seminars with various artists, the most recent being with Susan Harrison-Tustain of New Zealand.  She continues to search and experiment; for her the process is irresistible.

Donna works primarily from her home gallery at the lake.  Her attention to detail and her style both in her watercolours and custom designed Teddy Bears, make her works distinctive and a pleasure to discover and to own.  She welcomes commission work in both.

Giclee (she-clay) prints are available for purchase as well and Donna limits the editions to 50.  Greeting cards of your favorite paintings may be ordered.  Donna paints on Arches l40 lb. or 300 lb. cold pressed paper and uses Winsor Newton or Daniel Smith paints.
